To: All Kiltie Alumni Subject: Homecoming, Kiltie Alumni Band Date: Oct. 2nd & 3rd, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It’s
that time of year again! The Kiltie
Alumni Band is looking for you.
Come join the celebration during this year’s Homecoming Game.
We want to see every aspect of the band represented…musicians, pipers,
dance, and guard. Homecoming
is early again this season, so mark your calendars now.
This year we will have rehearsal on Thursday evening Oct. 2nd in
the orchestra room at 6:00 PM. We
will also meet on Friday Oct. 3rd at 5:45 PM for a final run-through with
the band. The alumni band will march down to the stadium at 7:00
directly in front of the Kilties. Everybody
is encouraged to join us on Thursday evening, but, if you are unable to attend,
please feel free to come on Friday night. Even
if you haven’t played your instrument in some time, dust it off and come join
old friends and have some fun. If
you need an instrument there may be some available through RHS.
Please contact us ahead of time so that we can get one ready for you.
Bagpipers, dancers and color guard are also encouraged to join in. On
Friday we will enter the stadium with the Kilties. Everyone with us must be wearing a maroon or Kiltie
shirt. After the pre-game
performance, those who wish to may return to the bleachers with the Kilties. Dress
for the event will be a maroon shirt and jeans. We will have some Kiltie Alumni shirts available ($6) for
those who don’t have one. Hope
to see you there on Thursday, Oct. 2nd, if not, come on Friday, the 3rd for the
performance. Do come...we have a
great time!!! Please
